Pace Yourself.

Nerium International has been fortunate to build so quickly in such a short period of time. Our Facebook wall tells tales of explosive growth, and we have several leaders who connect with hundreds of people each week. We are grateful to every single one of our Brand Partners for everything they do to build their business.

A Brand Partner reached out to us recently with a very good point: we hear a lot about explosive, seemingly-overnight growth; how does that tie into the principles of the Slight Edge (“Small actions, compounded over time, make a big difference”), as well as one of our core values (“Slow down to go fast”)? Specifically, he asked, “Can those of us who buy in to the Slight Edge principles of consistent, seemingly insignificant steps (when compared to what we are hearing) such as two a day introductions to the product or business —can we succeed here or are we going to be left in the dust of this exploding company?”

The short answer is, unequivocally, yes. Nerium International is a place where everyone can succeed, and we are here to help you reach your goals. We wholeheartedly believe in you and we want to support you.

We could offer platitudes, but we get it – when you’re trying to build your business and you see others seemingly passing you by, clichés aren’t helpful. It can be disheartening to see people passing you by, but it’s not a race.

While there are certainly some parallels to be drawn between building your Nerium business and a race, it’s not entirely accurate. While there are hoards of people cheering you on, there’s not a finish line. There’s certainly a sense of urgency, but use that for each individual goal, no matter the size. People started before you, and people will start after you. Not everyone will get to the same exact place at the same exact time; in fact, it would be rather boring if everyone did! Really, the only way to “lose” this race is to quit

Something to remember is this: “fast” is a relative term, and we are so new that everything that is being done and highlighted in our infancy are things that have happened extremely fast! We celebrate all successes, no matter the size.

We encourage everyone to act at their own pace, and do what works for them and their lifestyle. The Slight Edge principle is definitely a great way to go about it. Some brand partners may have more experience than you. Others may have more time to dedicate to it (most of the people involved do this on a part time basis, and that is just as exciting!). We celebrate all Brand Partners, no matter what their pace is, and we applaud them for being a part of the movement to take Nerium across the country – and around the world!

You’ve joined us at a very exciting time, and we are so grateful for everything you contribute, no matter the size.

    I wholeheartedly thank you for this article. I may be spare time as can be, but I am committed and anything but a quitter! It’s the leadership of this company that I hear cheering me on to do the simple things every day that seem to make no difference. They have believed in me sometimes more than I did myself.     I really enjoyed reading this post. I believe in little steps…compounded over time brings real results! When I joined Nerium, all I had in me is the right “mindset” No matter what happens the word “quit” is never in my vocabulary! In 67 days, I didn’t get an I-pad, so what? My upline seemed disappointed, but I believe in the Slight Edge’s 7 principles…(6)willing to pay the price and (7) Integrity. I applied myself to Learning How To Market my Nerium business online and WOW! Yeah, I can’t believe it! I just signed up my first “Eagle”! I’ve been generating leads everyday now using Nerium Edge capture pages!
